e_thsn: A suggestion for new Ice Royals, they stick to the original theme of investigation/role guessing and freezing players that nullifies votes
I think these work better than flock, especially since flock doesn't really follow it's initial design

**Ice King** | Solo Investigative - Ice Royals Team | Limited
__Basics__
Each night, the Ice King can investigate a certain number of players by guessing their roles. Every player the Ice King guesses correctly will be frozen.
If all living players are frozen, unaligned, or part of the Ice Royals team the Ice Royals team wins.
__Details__
The Ice King can select a number of players each night, and guess for each of them what their role could be. The number of guesses is limited by the number of players at the start of the game. For every 4 players, the Ice King gets 1 guess.
They may use several of their guesses for one player, however all guesses have to be made at the same time. All correct guesses will be confirmed.
The Ice King is immune to disguises, obstructions, and redirections.
All the players that the Ice King guessed correctly will be frozen. Frozen players are not notified about this, but their votes will no longer count in the public votes. The Ice King cannot nullify the extra mayor vote nor manipulated votes such as grandma or corrupt wolf.
If a player’s role changes they will remain Frozen, the Ice King cannot investigate Frozen players or members of the Ice Royals team.
During the day the Ice King can apply a number of votes equal to the amount of alive frozen players to another player invisibly, this works like the stalker where these votes do not appear when the polls close but do count towards another player being lynched.
The Ice King can additionally choose to weakly disguise themselves as the role of any frozen player, this disguise can be updated at any time and will be lost if the player becomes unfrozen.
The Ice King will work together with any Ice Royals, they will all be part of an Ice Royals channel where they can communicate securely.
If the Ice King loses their role, they will lose their ability to freeze players. Role changes are not revealed to the other Ice Royal Team members.

Each Day the Ice Queen can investigate a player to learn their original role, this also chills the player, players are not aware that they have been chilled.
Chilled players who attempt to use an action are notified that they are chilled and cannot act, causing their ability to fail.
The Ice Queen can additionally choose to weakly disguise themselves as the role of any frozen player, this disguise can be updated at any time and will be lost if the player becomes unfrozen.
When a player is both chilled and frozen, the chilled status and role block is removed.
If there are no remaining ice kings then the Ice Queen will freeze players instead of chilling them, this will nullify their vote instead

shapechange: im not against them coming back necessarily, but a) i dont like these current versions b) i dont want to commit to saying "yes, i do want them back, just as long as they're improved"

shapechange: my number one dislike is the presence of two solo effects for one team, which tbh was partially what was wrong with flock imo
shapechange: i also maintain that a solo team based on capturing and distributing votes is doomed to always lose unless it's given essentially an array of unrelated powers which form the actual strengths of its role
shapechange: i'm not super against role blocking myself but i agree with ts and vera that too many role block mechanics aren't good - they make the game more boring for players

shapechange: the three main problems with flock were a) multiple solo effects, which contributed to b) way too confusing and hard to keep track of abilities, as well as c) being a vote manip solo. ice royals definitely keeps a) and c) and i'm not convinced it wouldn't eventually develop into b)

mctsts: ice royals tend to get harder with more players, so these can be tested on MWR like the old ones
