I think a role based around figuring out when wolves get exposed by invest roles could be interesting and not too powerful, but unsure what the best way to do it would be.
Mr. Turtle: What's the goal of the role? Just that two people get Investigative results?
It's for the wolves to figure out if they get investigated.
Mr. Turtle: Oh, it's a Wolf role?
Yeah, probably should've put my original suggestion from #role-discussions and not just @Shepherdwhen's reply.
Ts: I think this is an interesting basic concept, but I don't have any ideas how to turn this into a role right now.
Ts: Since final version of v15 is still a bit off now, this could be discussed again.
Ts: Im not sure why this hasnt been mentioned before but Ethan's version makes it effectively a weak WI role that can only tell the difference between Invest and non-Invest roles (which is actually decently useful!). So it would just end up being used for that and not to gain info on who was checked
Ts: I think if the idea was changed into what it was meant to be it would just end up being a fairly pointless role
Ts: It usually doesn't benefit wolves all that much to know they've been checked
Ts: Closing this
Ethan.: I want to implement this role as a packless lycanless wolf
A wolf investigative role that during the day can choose a TI role (e.g AT)
During the night if the role they choose makes a check they receive a copy of the result including the people chosen
E.g AT result would be:
Ts is
a threat
Or a CS result would be: Ethan as Runner Ts as Wolf Vera as Barber
If the rle doesn't exist/the player that had the role is dead/doesn't check that night the baroness won't receive anything in the night
The choosing of TI would be end day, receiving the TI check is immediate night
Snivy-Ace13: This looks cool
Snivy-Ace13: Kinda strong don’t you think? It would be easy to be like ‘I’m at’ and then counter say what the actual at says
Ethan.: Baroness | Werewolf Investigative Basics During the night the Baroness can learn the results of a selected Town Investigative. Details During the day the Baroness can choose any role within the townsfolk investigative catagory. The following night they will learn the players or roles targeted by any player with the selected role as well as any results that player received. The Baroness is not a lycan, nor are they a member of the wolfpack.

Depends, knowing there's an AT means it's likely a public list and they know there's baron
If it's partial or private you may spend a few days guessing TI if you don't know the TI and don't get lucky
Snivy-Ace13: It’s definately interesting
Ts: I like it
Ts: we only have 2? completely packless roles rn I believe so an addition there would definitely be nice
Ts: This role also has a builtin method of finding the wolves which we sort of always need - it can find them with the checks made by the TIs
Ts: The role is multi functional: It can find the wolves with its power, it can figure out which TIs still live and it can get useful info from the TIs
Ts: Particularly what might be more useful than just figuring out when a wolf is exposed is figuring it out town roles this way. In this regard this role may be more powerful than even a Warlock
Ts: The role allows for a decent amount of adjusting of its power level as its reliant on the TI roles in game
Ts: This also leads to some impact on other roles in the game that additional can benefit the wolves: TIs may be scared to check e.g. a TK to confirm them - after all that could just let the wolves know who the TK is
Ts:
It usually doesn't benefit wolves all that much to know they've been checked
Overall I think this is still roughly accurate (though it may still help in some ways, just not all that much), but the role gives a bunch of other benefits too, making it a worthwhile addition

Tanner and Warlock?
Is recluse 100% packless too
Ts: ah
Ts: I forgot Recluse exists
Ts: 3 then
Ethan.: Honestly I really like fully packless wolves
Ethan.: Wolves have to play less risky as you know they won't have a kill if the whole pack dies
Ethan.: Whereas a fox could join and kill someone
Snivy-Ace13: That’s a really weak investigate power wow
Snivy-Ace13: Never realised that b4
Ethan.: It's trade off is it's a pack wolf
Ethan.: It's single role CS
Ethan.: Mostly because town is less likely to disguise than wolf and solo
Ethan.: So it's pretty strong
Snivy-Ace13: Hmm
Snivy-Ace13: Fair enough
Ethan.: Mostly in public
Ethan.: It's very strong if combined with KW in partial
Snivy-Ace13: Wolf investigate prob should be explored further
Snivy-Ace13: Or
Ethan.: We have enough wi imo
Snivy-Ace13: Solo investigate? 👀
Ethan.:
Solo investigate? 👀
How would they win?
Snivy-Ace13: Flute
Snivy-Ace13: Ethan don’t you want flock to thrive
Rough Role Idea could we make it an active ability that if it can target one of the investigative roles and it can see their action that night if one exists
