Rogue wolf becoming CC if they lose their power was one thing I suggested mid game
Because it was said that atm rogue wolf feels like a priest clone without having a bigger threat to it than losing its power, however people were objected to direct role change so maybe we do cursed civ instead
Captain Luffy: Then it loses its disguise, its lycan status, and its wolfish status
Captain Luffy: I don't think that makes very much sense
Ethan.: Well maybe not become the exact role but gain the c civ ability
Captain Luffy: I guess then you'd have to make a new transformation role for that
Captain Luffy: For wolf roles that lose their powers, they turn into they wolf role anyways
Ts: they dont
Captain Luffy: Lone wolf, lone warlock, all 3 foxes
Ts: only foxes do
Ts: lone wolf and lone warlock do not
Ts: there was a suggestion to have them change, but it still unresolved
Captain Luffy: Oh they don't? I know they used to

I'm not sure if thats accurate, or if some Hosts just do it even if it is incorrect
Ts: (like done in this game)
Captain Luffy: Changing roles into powerless ones is a good way to simplify roles losing their power
Vera but actually a frog:

sounds good
Ts: im fine with the concept, but it seems very strange if you think about it
Ts: like how does a rogue wolf turn into a cursed civilian
Ts: i know this sort of thing isnt the highest priority, but in this case the transformation is very bizzare
Ts: rogue wolf -> cursed civilian -> wolf
Ts: I think there's a nice explanation to do the same thing lore wise
Ts: like idk the rogue wolf decides to rejoin the wolves the next time they encounter a wolfish player
Captain Luffy: if modifiers existed could say it gets the accursd modifier
shapechange: we don't need to have it be explicitly a change to a cc or similar: could just tag on "if the rogue wolf no longer has its ability, then upon being attacked by a wolfish player it will convert" except wit proper phrasing
Captain Luffy: but if it becomes cursed civ then it loses its disguise and wolfish trait and lycan trait
shapechange: yes and we dont want that
Ts: yea that makes no sense
Ts:

yea pretty much this is what I meant
Ts: it makes more sense mechanically (doesnt lose the wolfish traits) and lore wise too
Captain Luffy: sounds like a role i wouldnt want in my list
Captain Luffy: or to play with
shapechange: okay then dont make lists with it
Ts: meh thats not a good reply
Captain Luffy: like priest but an even worse punishement, alignment change. cant trust them with any info, wincon completely at the mercy of town leads decided actions
shapechange: im not sure how this is a worse punishment than priest
Ts: is the punishment worse though? its much harder to reach
Ts: priest - fail once, die rogue wolf - fail twice AND get attacked, change alignment
shapechange: rn as it is i really dislike rogue wolf because it is literally just a shittier priest
Ts: Even if you consider alignment change to be worse than death its overall much harder to reach
shapechange: and if we can't decide on a change i will propose it be removed
Captain Luffy: i mean, it is gonna get attacked eventually
shapechange: not necessarily????
Captain Luffy: how often do cursed cits remain as cursed cit to the end of the game
shapechange: fairly often, actually
shapechange: in fact i can only think of like. two incidents in which they were turned
Captain Luffy: i cant remember a time when they werent, but thats just my memory
shapechange: for a cursed civ to be attacked, wolves need to have their invest survive and/or get very lucky
