Please put your opinions on the updated flock team here.

Captain Luffy: I don't like it very much tbh. But something that needs to be added is that You can unherd people. Otherwise town will not be able to be killed until you do, and you can't help wolves make a comeback

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: I was thinking we could just re-add the "unherd to steal vote" power

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ethan.: yeah

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ethan.: something so HD can have more control over herded

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: What about something like, if unherded you can see details of the power (if any) they use that night. Could be incentive to unherd ppl, but at the risk of not having a herd.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Could also make shep a more interesting person to team up with (obvious risks come with that aswell). Cuz they would have interesting info.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Or, I don’t know, maybe that’s too strong. But since they can’t kill, having info and reason to side with scum could balance out how they are handy for town.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: alternatively Those in the herd lose their power for a night or more…. Cuz their dumb goats and they can’t do anything 🤷🏾‍♀️ (Huntsman gets herded, they can’t check anyone) this could make town want to hunt the shep in the same way that the wolves would want to.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Oh, here’s another one.

What if the Shepard could slaughter a member of the herd and give their power to a member of the flock (replacing an ability if one already exists, but they still remain in the flock/ shep team)

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Reaper used to be able to use dead players abilities iirc, and it would be quite complicated

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ethan.: I think ‣ Shepherd can unherd for ? (Probably votes) ‣ Unherded players can't be herded the next night (prevents someone becoming perma invincible ‣ Maybe a downside to being attacked while herded like shepherd gains your vote for a day

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ethan.: <@242983689921888256> would it be too strong actually if herded people were protected but lost public vote? Similar to ice king

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ethan.: The losing vote part

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: could work, probably

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: I just think that there needs to be something equal annoyance to the town as there are to the wolves.

Wolves not being able to attack for fear of losing kills is a massive disadvantage compared to town just losing a vote. I feel like if I was on the towns team, I would want to be in the herd for protection. Also, the shep having to unherd just for a vote seems kind of weak imo, especially if they need to herd everyone to win. Seems counterintuitive… unless unherding someone gave you a larger benefit. Ya know?

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Just from my reads on the solo teams, they should in theory be just as much a threat to town as they are to wolves, and I feel like right now it’s unbalanced in that way. But anyways, that’s my opinion 🧐

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Usually a wolf gets herded one day or another anyways

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: And as long as one is herded wolves know who not to attack

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: to make it equal for wolf and town just have being herded also protect from lynch

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: how are you gonna lynch a sheep somewhere in the middle of a herd

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Lawl. Lynching a sheep cuz their “suss” is a funny thought.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Protection from lynches sounds okay

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: But you could lynch the shep yes?

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Yes, and?

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Don’t think they’d find shep so quickly

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Just asking cuz if all kills are blocked, making sure the shep doesn’t basically have immunity from lynch.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Shep can’t herd themselves

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Oh nm, I was thinking about the hell team (wrongly) for a sec sorry.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Hell? <:thonk:688530547857031236>

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Ignore.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: No.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: This is questionable

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Ugh, hell uses souls to block attacks. I got confused for a moment.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Nm

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Anyways, imo, shep just doesn’t seem as exciting as the other solos in terms of power. Like, if there was an element of info gathering mixed in with their power, it might be more engaging to play as. Ya know?

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: I think that doesn't really feel very fitting

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: Yeah fair, just spitballing.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Not all solos have info anyways

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: It's best if its focused on one certain thing

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: For flock that's currently protection (for themselves and others)

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: (and I think that also makes sense for the theming of the role - the shepherd protects the flock)

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: wb the vote stealing

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: that's still related to controlling the flock at least and would be used to protect themselves agaisnt getting lynched

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

Ts: but it's not perfect

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: True

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: At least it gives an incentive to unherd though

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: What if 1- they can optionally unherd 2- they can use all their herds votes how they want. Separate features

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: Optionally unherding without a prize is a bit off

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

huckhuck55: That’s controlling the herd and also getting rid of hers members that they don’t want to protect.

CrowdfordBot commented 1 year ago

!Phantomtomic: After all having everyone herded is part of their wincon
