huckhuck55: But if they could steal all votes, the town wouldn’t want to be in the herd if shep had enough people. Cuz then shep can control. Like, town as it is loves being in the herd, and as the herd grows, town and wolves can both figure out who the shep is and then lynch them before herding everyone. But if shep had control over votes, then they would be able to avoid being lynched, making them a larger threat to town.

Ts: to make the whole thing more logical consistent it could just be:

• herded players cant vote or attack
• herded players survive getting lynched or attacked but become unherded

huckhuck55: But shep might still have a tougher time making it to the end if wolves see that all but 3 people (for example) are herded. Easier targeting of shep.

If it blocks votes it will gain a tie on the last amount = flock members if no mayor

if say X is shepherd and town vote X with 3 non herded people but X wins by voting Y then X is shepherd

But imagine the fun if there’s a vote on someone (not shep) and they alter the votes to frame that person and kill someone who the shep feels is a bigger threat. There’s a lot they could do to alter votes but still stay hidden

huckhuck55: And to that first point, that’s a pretty long way to go to get to the end and have the vote cancel actually be useful, don’t you think?

huckhuck55: But late game is where the shep would shine. If vote stealing… vote cancelling would still be an uphill battle.

I mean, as it is right now, shep is revealed regardless because they need all town herded to win. Therefor. If there is 3 ppl left, chances are they will herd 2 at night and wolves will kill and either ping the shep, but if not, then 2 herded/ unherded cuz wolf target, wtv happens. But it would be very obvious by the end of all that who the shep is and majority would lynch shep to keep them from winning.
