OpenDrop is an open source, low cost drop-off unit for animal-borne devices. Provided herein is code for device firmware and programming software (Windows binaries available under Releases). Additionally, Gerber files for PCB fabrication and CAD files for a small/medium mammal housing mould master are included.
Device firmware is written in C and requires the AVR/Atmel Studio IDE - https://www.microchip.com/mplab/avr-support/avr-and-sam-downloads-archive
Programming software is written in Visual Basic and requires the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE - https://visualstudio.microsoft.com
