Made a Midnight Isles character gave them Bracers of Armor and they don't provide any armor bonus at all.
That said, the character still had their armor attunement bonus applied while not wearing armor, with or without the Bracers. However, equipping a shield disabled the armor attunement, but still applied the shield attunement bonus.
