The current unit tests are written in a very simple and straightforward manner. However, they could be improved:

use NUnit's Assert.That wherever possible to improve readability
use the What_When_Then naming convention to stretch out tests and make every method single-responsibility
use [SetUp] and [TearDown] methods properly - this also causes groups of tests with a different basis to reside in different classes

Help wanted if anyone wants to contribute. I am currently short on time.
