Initialization of Databases

• run initDatabaes.js (only once)
• run populateDatabases.js (only once)
• if you need to reset your data bases:
  • open mongo shell and enter the following commands:
    1. use secProj
    2. db.dropDatabase()
  • open db browser and take the following actions:
    1. open database file from path
    2. delete the USER and ITEM tables
  • run initDatabases.js (only once)
  • run populateDB.js (only once)

1. send Joe your github username to add as collaborator

2. Download Github desktop app: https://desktop.github.com/

3. Download Webstorm: https://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/download/#section=windows-version

4. Download nodejs (version 6): https://nodejs.org/en/

   • remember the directory where you installed in your computer

5. Download MongoDB (select default option): https://www.mongodb.com/download-center#community/

   • Instructions for Windows: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-windows/

6. Start up MongoDB Service (you will have to do this each time):

   • Open Windows Command Line and enter the following commands
   • cd C:\Program Files\MongoDB\Server\3.4\bin\
   • mongod.exe
