@207 could you assemble a new Application.swf for testing? I will publish your
link to forum thread for people to try.

Application.swf (put in res_mods\0.8.9\gui\flash, and overwrite the existing
file):

IMPORTANT: use r2932:

Edgar, this "application.swf" is different than "application.swf" in build 2937
?
we must use this file ? or keep "application.swf" that in build 2937 ?
Original comment by lionel.f...@gmail.com
on 12 Nov 2013 at 9:32
Yes it's a different file.
You have to use this file with the r2932 nightly, the best is to clear your
whole res_mods folder and install the aforementioned files.

IMHO, better to use latest build, and apply only Application.Tankman.patch to
Application.swf.

Okay, here is Application.swf patched with only Application.Tankman.patch,
should work with the last nightly:

I apologize, I don't understand why it's better to use "application.swf" with
"application.tankman.patch" instead of "application.swf" found in latest build ?
it fixes some bugs ? if so, which ?
thx in advance :)

Simply replace your Application.swf in res_mods\0.8.9\gui\flash with the one in
post #213 if you are using the last nightly or with the one in #209 if you are
using XVM 5.0.1-test2.
Yes it should fix CTD.

Hello
with r2936, "ESC" key does not function well. In garage, if you press esc, and
then again to back to garage, it wont work. you need to use mouse to press back
to game button. Another problem, if you look at properties on a gun, or engine,
the window with that properties not closing with esc key, just with mouse from
X.
I tested again, fresh install of xvm, with r2932 and new application.swf and
ESC key works ok.
I am at work and cant play, to test if they are any CTDs, i will try later when
i am home.
i hope it will help with your great job, what i say.

Tried #209, worked well for about 7 battles, then I crashed. Will try #213 with
latest nightly and report back.

Thanks, infos have been passed on to RABCDAsm's developer, it seems his fix
didn't worked.
I'm still working on my custom injection utility, we'll be able to test one
more file tonight.

Okay here we go guys, new RABCDAsm fix, check this file (you MUST use a nightly
containing the experimental Application.swf removal fix, >= r2933):
http://www.mediafire.com/download/paiet7e53tn0kb2/Application.swf
As usual, put it in res_mods\0.8.9\gui\flash and overwrite the existing file.
I deleted the two other files as they were still crashing.

Had crashed with XVM 5.0.1-test2. Nothing seem to work (deleting or renaming
application.swf was crashing game).
Changed to r2936. Since then no crash noticed after 100 battles, which seems to
solve my issue.

On the NA server In "Service Records" -> Vehicles, it always shows No Vehicles
played for this mode. The Team Mode/Random Battle Dropdown selection also does
nothing in Statistics and Vehicles Tab. I'm using r2943.

To add to the above, I narrowed it down to r2942. r2941 everything works fine
in Service Records.
