A simple command line tool to accessing POP3 mailbox's.

E.g connect to your POP3 server

./popx -h 2001:db8::dead:beef:cafe -u me@example.com

Where me@example.com is the username for the account. It will then prompt for the password (with echo turned off).

Upon connecting it will give you a list of message headers that will fit on your screen e.g you will see something like

+OK Mailbox open, 4 messages 1: Test Andrew Clayton andrew@digital-domain.net Sun, 28 Apr 2013 12:20:09 +0100 2: Test Andrew Clayton andrew@digital-domain.net Sun, 28 Apr 2013 00:28:46 +0100 3: Test Andrew Clayton andrew@digital-domain.net Sun, 28 Apr 2013 00:04:55 +0100 4: Test 2 Andrew Clayton andrew@digital-domain.net Sun, 28 Apr 2013 00:13:31 +0100

You can cycle through your messages with the 'n' and 'p' commands.

You can then issue commands such as TOP n, RETR n, DELE n etc. Commands are not case sensitive.

You can get a list of useful commands by typing help.

exit or quit to finish.

Useful for looking at that crufty old POP3 account that you don't want to go through all the trouble of setting up in your mail client

Ultimately it should behave a bit more like the mailx program.
