Currently, there is only one giant README with all documentation.

It would be clearer to split up the readme into different chunks relevant for different people:

Main README = user focus -> Purpose / Getting Started / Custom app creation / Credits
Deployment = main dev focus -> Roadmap
Enhancements = extra dev focus -> Extra features / Troubleshooting
Origins = main dev focus -> How it all began
