The aim is to start creating a repo that can be re-used and referenced as an example repo.

Standard coding and organisation principles include:

[ ] How to contribute guide
[ ] Issue and Pull Request templates
[ ] Release notes (somehow performed)
[ ] Changelog (to add to the repo itself for access?)
[ ] Security policy (to report security issues)
[ ] Code of conduct (https://docs.github.com/en/communities/setting-up-your-project-for-healthy-contributions/adding-a-code-of-conduct-to-your-project)
[x] Add labels for issue management
[ ] Add milestones for issue bundling
