Hi, I ran into the same issue. Would be nice if this library was kept up to date. For now, I've created a fork of http.async.client, fixed the issue in 0.5.x
and published that fork to Clojars. Here's how it works for me:
https://github.com/matthiasn/BirdWatch/blob/master/Clojure-Websockets/TwitterClient/project.clj#L8
Cheers, Matthias
@matthiasn thank for this, yes, some work here is required, I have my hands full atm, sooner or later though I'll need it.
As of [twitter-api "1.8.0"]
(tag: v1.8.0), all (ns ...)
forms have been modernized and http.async.client
has been updated to latest version 1.2.0
.
This repo's project.clj
won't use Clojure 1.9 until it's officially released, but the test suite now succeeds with [org.clojure/clojure "1.9.0-alpha11"]
.

In order to upgrate to
alpha11
, given the noteworthy new specs onns
,def
, etc... there is a necessary commit to include inhttp.async.client
(1.2.0
). Unfortunately this introduces some new stuff (I see the version supported here is kind of dated) and I receive an error (long):I am not familiar with the code base, but maybe with some hint I can have a look at this.
