The following pages currently live on the soon-to-be-updated AGS main website. Please ensure these are available in full format in the AGS Manual:

I think only the GUI one isn't here, unless it's been renamed. Here are the others (they may be slightly different):

Also, just to be clear, if the information is out-of-date or wrong then it shouldn't be added to the manual. We can open issues to create new GUI instructions if they are missing but we shouldn't just add information into the manual because there is nowhere else to put it.

I would hope that whoever is deleting the wiki would supply the wiki source so it can be archived separately from anything else, somewhere else.

To be clear though, these pages aren't in the AGS Wiki as such. They can be stored there as Historical information, but I agree with Morgan, if it's wildly out-of-date information, then what purpose would that serve? Then perhaps it's time to let this go and just write new, more up-to-date material when/if the need arises.

Ah, just checked the GUI scripting tutorial, it's not that it's wrong, it's needs a bit update on the screenshots but overall the content is somewhat fine (needs reorganization and some text fixes). The thing is the second part of it was not fully written, so it needs to be finished. I will open a ticket on GUI instructions. So current, even after figuring if it goes in the manual and where it goes, the text is not complete yet.

The information on the GUI tutorial in the website, I have a feeling it's not anywhere else - I have seen some people on the begginer board talking about a save and load GUI tutorial but I never knew what they were talking about, but apparently it was those two webpages in the main site.

Btw, not ALL tutorials need to be here, like say someone makes a "Pong" tutorial that explains how to make a game of pong, it would be perfectly fine to be elsewhere, the manual should probably have a reference documentation for everything, but on the tutorial side, just some basics and just text format. If someone made videos on the basics, it would be super useful, but it would not be in the manual itself. See video here: https://github.com/adventuregamestudio/ags-manual/issues/50

Anyway, so in short, I am fine with having the GUI tutorial here, but it needs to be written to the end. :)
