Make it be able to go on newer versions #325

as the title implies, i think it would be great to have us be able to play this incredible mod on newer versions(not 1.20.1 or anything about 1.12.x really, but just on a newer version so we can use the features that for example 1.12 bring)

This is a large effort that we don't have a team of people to do, unfortunately. :/
