Swarnalakshmi and I decided to play with Weaver a bit - just for general insights about how well her screen reader handles it and also looking forward to getting interface funding. We did a spot check and found some interesting glitches. For example, she was able to get into the Document tab - a bit laboriously because she had to go down the whole list (there was no categorization). She was able to get to the list of document by clicking up the tabs in reverse order and down the document list. If she moused over the blue button next to a document she would hear "graphic clickable". The screen reader could not detect the box with an arrow.
The good news is that she was able to select and download a couple of documents that she needed for the class she's taking with me.
It would be good to explore with Swarna what the functions of the screen reader in regard to Weaver. That would be helpful to her also.
