This annoying behavior has been present for the last several builds and in the current beta.
The current behavior makes it very difficult to maintain chat position while interacting with links.
Please look into disabling chat window movement after clicking on links/release names, the window should not scroll to the last message after clicking a link but rather maintain its position.
