Release 0.8.10 - Githubissues

As we close in on releasing, there are a few smaller disparate topics left to address and clean up:

[x] Complete or update issues that are still open with the 0.8.10 tag and with the 0.8.9 tag.
[x] The Audit AllegroFlare issue has a long list of tasks. See what is still relevant an/or can be done.
[x] We'll need a name - How about "Dutiful Discus"? A [discus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discus(fish)) changes its colors based on personal and environmental factors much like this changes in this release. It's "dutiful" because this particular release signifies a continuing persistence to the project_.
