@daco priiloader(beta) works on patched ios80 too - crazy
did u do any changes to that version?
Original comment by senseles...@web.de
on 26 Nov 2011 at 1:56
@hamma , was hast du genau gemacht ? Ich moechtes auch :D
@daco , same on not patched . I guess it's doing the first connection to the sd
card while drawing menu or so . If you haven't moved it after everything else
finished and if hamma can't tell me how he fixed the bug on his wii can you
please move it ? I had an simmilar problem with MCSL when it did the news while
output console thus mixing the 2 because of same thread names but in various
classes .

@hamma : so im guessing something in the ios or SM was faulty causing the
issue? since both are reinstalled now and it works...

Hmm ... reinstalling ? Ugh ... can ... can it be possible that it was pimpmywii

ok seems to be a bug in ios/cios installations - what i did:
download uhg downloader at: http://www.wii-homebrew.com/
follow the instructions on:
http://forum.wii-homebrew.com/board4-wii-homebrew-area/board9-tutorials/softmod-
und-nand-emulation/8260-new-ultimate-homebrew-guide-wii-by-wii-homebrew-com-v1-0
/?s=fa65e1f28d295bbdd403f58d98a72b4b7f62efc5
select full UPGRADE with brickprotection;)
do step one at yawm (holding+ until EVERY wad is selected with a "+"!)
to stay at sm4.3 DON´T do step two which installs sm4.1 (I did and had to
update from ninty updateserver back to 4.3)!!
going back to hbc open pimpmywii and select manual install - choose ios58 for
install ios80 with all hacks
install and upgrade priiloader from updateoption
reboot wii;)
hope i forgot nothing

Original comment by senseles...@web.de
on 26 Nov 2011 at 2:37
I can't , I got the black wii with 4.3 pre-delivered thus with boot3 I think .
If there would be an way to downgrade the boot3 to boot2 per softmod only ...
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com

thats bad bootmii in boot2 is the only brickprevention what really works save

retten egal was schiefgegangen ist...

I will not do it your way ( pimpmywii semi-bricked my wii and I do not want my
Wii bricked ) . I wait until daco sets the connection to the sd- or sdhc-slot
after everything other on start . Maybye it's an problem with the size of the
cards and it " kills " / interrupts by , let's say , 3,58141759 GB and it does
an DSI .

if you have priiloader you dont need a patched SM IOS. let priiloader choose a
different ios for SM then. but ok. thats for a different time :P

i could fix my problems with sm4.3 on ios80 and priiloader(beta) so i gave him

Original comment by senseles...@web.de
on 26 Nov 2011 at 3:31
Nope , it didn't . But hey - FTP now works ;D
<Daco> im guessing ios but ok
<Daco> also, the crash happens from a check if a device needs to be unmounted
or remounted
Removing the check ... does that do something ?
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com
on 26 Nov 2011 at 3:32
@hamma , priiloader boots on smios but it can change smios thus change the ios
priiloader is working on BUT the smios in the same time . SMIOS FTW ...
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com
on 26 Nov 2011 at 3:33
i would try uhg-downloader updating all ios/cios only not ios80 because u have
one working good.
if thats not working for u try installing sm4.3e again
Original comment by senseles...@web.de
on 26 Nov 2011 at 3:35
isn´t it possible to give priiloader the option of choosing a ios for booting
priiloader instead of smios like the option for choosing smios?
it could boot on smios on load fail like now
Original comment by senseles...@web.de
on 26 Nov 2011 at 3:43
1) priiloader is loaded by the ios that is described in the SM TMD. priiloader
can reload into a different IOS before priiloader loads the rest of the SM
title. thats why i said SMIOS patching is kinda useless
2) you reinstalled ios80 and installed a fresh, unpatched , SM 4.3 wad nuda?

Wii came with 4.1 or 4.2 but as my friend played an game on it he updated to
4.3 . ]
