Testing v0.8(beta v2) - Problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install a .dol for autoboot (wiiflow)
2.press POWERON wii
3.press RESET

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
boot to priiloader - codedump 

i have to boot from a shortcut in hbc to launch priiloader - but there is no 
problem booting priiloader..
after i reinstalled priiloader booting from RESET works fine
but when i made a .dol autoboot again i can´t acces priiloader anymore 
output code (booting sm etc.) doesn´t work, too in this beta...
going back to v0.7 - everything works like ever:(

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?

voll update mit brickprevention ? Das ... das bedeutet doch , 4.1 , oder ? Was 
muss ich  nicht installieren damit ich 4.3 habe ? Und ich hab verstanden 80 
wurde mit 60 ueberschrieben . Soll ich danach 80 mit 80 ueberschreiben ?

es werden 2 verzeichnisse mit verschiedenen wads erstellt
das eine heisst dann schritt1 wo alle ios und cioswads enthalten sind
das andere heisst schritt2 wo nur die 4.1wad enthalten ist
in alle smiosslots wird ein gepatchtes ios60 mit der höchstmöglichen rev.nr. 
installiert, das durch ein update von ninty nicht überschrieben und so 
gestubbt werden kann darum brickprävention.. angeblich gibt es keinen 
unterschied zwischen ios60 und ios80.
ich wollte halt ein gepatchtes ios80 damit ich falls ninty ein update rausgibt 
dieses an der re.nr. erkennen und manuell installieren kann

UHG Downloader hat sowas von gefailt ... schritt1 ( der ordner ) war eine datei 
...

achso dann mach den schritt2 danach gings bei mir 
um wieder auf 4.3 zu kommen habe ich vorhin ein ninty update gemacht aber das 
ios80 vorher selbst installieren oder von sm4.1 aus löschen

ich benutz d2x aber net ... Frueher hatte 2.2 mal probleme mit themes , dannach 
im 2.3 das gleiche und nun 20 sekunden bis zum Systemmenu da es den Stick nicht 
findet . Hermes mod hab ich auf 222 installiert und usb loader gx bootet auch 
ins 222 .

d2xv6 oder höher solltest du schon installieren, die lösen hermes so langsam 
ab (veraltet) aktuelle versionen von wiiflow und andere usbloader bekommen 
bessere kompatibilität, mehr optionen wie nandemu etc 
dann installier die nochmal drüber - musste ich auch - habe ich ja vorhin auch 
gepostet...
hermes sind übrigends 4 und hermes mod sogar 5 cios

@daco i have a question about the dvdx enable Hack for sm4.3 in priiloader - am 
i right that i had to reinstall dvdx after ninty Update? Syscheck told me that 
my Wii couldn't read DVDs so i installed it again...

D2x and dvdx are NOT the same;) 
D2x are the New cios Based on wanis cios but much better then rev.21. With all 
d2x cios 
installed Most usbloader can get the right Base from different slots for every 
Game and u don't Need to Force a Special cios like for Channel Access etc.
Dvdx was a invisible Channel for getting  Access to burned DVDs Build for some 
apps. 
My Wii does Not Play any burned DVDs by the New Laser but I i got some burned 
DVD-r playing in my Wii with my cios-constellations - sometimes;)

And C \ C++ is too hard for me with all the import handling and makefiles . The 
DevkitPRO Template Example for wii points to not existing input files ( ? ) but 
they still get loaded ... O.o

dvdx eh fast nichts ... wieso installierst du es ? Ich weis , manche DVD-R 
funktionieren manchmal . Vielleicht fehlbaute deines Lasers ;)

die Zeile Das Laufwerk unterstuetzt (keine) DVDs in syscheck sagt übrigends 
NICHTS über den verbauten Lasertyp, sondern lediglich, ob ein mit dem sm 
passendes, funktionierendes dvdx installiert ist..

keine ahnung der hardwarecopyschutz scheint wohl nicht immer zuverlässig zu 
funktionieren... 
ich habe irgendwann mal angefangen alle Ciosvarianten die es da so gibt mit 
verschiedenen baseios auf mögliche ntfs-kompatibilität hin zu testen, seit 
die loader ntfs unterstützen... dann hat ein kollege mir mal zum testen ne sk 
mitgebracht und die lief problemlos. mir auch ein rätsel..

ich habe dann mal darkcorp installiert, damit ich die dvd-r, die meine wii 
frisst schon im diskchannel sehen kann und geguckt, was da so mit den ios 
geändert wird. da waren mir die rev.versionen der einzelnen ios aber nicht 
mehr aktuell genug, also habe ich geguckt, was verschiedene tools können. 
jetzt installiere und patche ich mir meine ios und cios selber so wie ichs 
brauche. und kann manche gebrannten meistens dvd-r abspielen;)

habe im moment keine gebrannten dvds für wii da aber ich werde das irgendwann 
mal testen - auf jeden fall verschiedene hersteller
ich habe mal zum testen 2 identische sk auf dvd-r vom selben hersteller 
gebrannt - eine lief nach 2-3 mal rein raus aus dem diskchannel die andere 
nicht..

It was about running DVD-Rs on the new Laser chipset . Some disks get accepted 
sometimes says hamma . 

Maybye testing myself soon - so my brother can play Fifa 11 or 10 ...

Hamma , sometimes I think our Wiis just got too much radioactivity if you can 
run some burned DVDs and we get weird SDHC errors where some people are 
claiming they can't run burned DVDs but get no Priiloader errors with SDHC 
cards ( as stated somewhere else SD with 1 or 2GB works ... ) . So I am sending 
the latest version of SimpleMenu to the wii and check it out .

I think my issue could have been come from the installation of different 
versions and mods of priiloader in the past... Maybe.. 
I had installed different versions of preloader, priiloader-germanmod, and this 
priiloader on sm4.3 without ever reinstalling the sm. maybe somewhere got 
something wrong during uninstalling and installing.. Getting out of ideas, too. 
But now everything works fine... 
@daco are you interested in a german language pack? I could make you one:)

Umm ... Haven't I stated that nothing worked ? All patches on 4.3 , all patches 
on 4.1 , 4.1 no patches and 4.3 no patches ? With patches I mean typical 
patches and the other wads I had to install .

I think the Problem comes from the sminstallation not the iOS - maybe try to 
uninstall priiloader then downgrade and update from ninty again? Did u install 
sm4.3 with ios 80 installed or with empty slot 80 while updating?
