We can add a new feature to the app such that the app follows the system dark and light mode automatically i.e. if the user's device is in dark mode then the app will also be in dark mode and the same for light mode also. We can let the user select the System Default option in the settings. This type of app theming is followed in many updated and popular apps such as WhatsApp, Youtube, Facebook, etc.
