From what I have been able to find, missionaries do not really have a good way that will keep all of their information for deputation and furloughs together all in one place. Yes, I understand that it can be done through means of online apps such as Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google notes, etc. But there is not per se an app that you can use while online with any device (i.e.: smartphones, tablets, desktops, and laptops) that has a really simple user interface and is tailor made for missionary use. If you know of something already in existence, please let me know.
This app will help store quickly find contacts for preachers, churches, missionary friends, church members, prophet chambers, friends, etc. Contacts and churches can be added as private or public. For instance, if you add a private contact then only you will have that contact information. If you add a public contact then that information will be shared with everyone else on the app if they chose to show public contacts. This will help find churches and pastors contacts quicker for new missionaries. If you are in a certain area and have a meeting cancel or have an opening, then you could search on the app for other churches in your area to find another meeting or even find a prophet chamber to sleep for the night.
Contacts will link to their church which will link to your calendar events there. A calendar will be available and quickly show what dates are available to book meetings and conferences as well as show what dates you already have scheduled.
This app will also be able to be used to track support. You will have an option to enter your needed support and then add support from churches and contacts as either perspective, promised, and received. Your support level will then be quickly calculated every time that you add or update a supporting church. The app will also be able to track support received from the church along with the amount received and the date received. This will help you see which churches have not been sending their support.
The plan is to make this app all-inclusive as possible for tracking, planning, and monitoring deputation travels. I know there are many other areas that can also be included and this is where I am asking for your ideas.
