API callback for your personal website #15

Would anyone use the feature if this app allowed API callbacks to its data?

I was thinking of an evangelist using this app and I developed a site before where the evangelist site actually had a church finder and an itinerary for their upcoming meetings. I was thinking of allowing your data to be called out of this app with the use of an API that could be worked into a WordPress plugin. Of course, your data would be controlled by you and would require an API key from you as the user to access your calendar. Calendar events could be marked as private or API-public,* so that an event like send out newsletters and quarterly updates, etc would not be API-public events.

*Note: API-public events is not the same as public notes. API-public would be data that could only be accessed through the API that you authorize with your API key. Whereas, public notes are globally public notes to anyone who has access to the app.

The plugin could even again use the quick cal map view to show when the evangelist/missionary would be in the visitor's area on your own personal website.

No longer would you need to book your meetings on the app and then also post the itinerary to your website.

A future feature for KJV Churches is an Events CPT, which will be connected to the church where the event will be held. Everything from camps to conferences to special music will be possible. That could be a future integration that we could explore as I expand the website's functionality.

With the expansion of multiple calendars for a user, there is no longer a need for 'API-public' but rather the user can set which calendar of events they want to display on their site with the API.
