the 'replace' column suggests updates to make hyphenation consistent, and avoid duplicates. for all the mass spectrometry methods, the pattern is that the skos:notation has the suffix '-MS', and for all the spectrometry methods, the suffix is '-S'. Most other notations don't have suffixes. The ideas is that the '-' in the notation string indicates that the method is a composition of techniques. The order of the segments is intended to follow the workflow of the method. E.g. for mass spectrometry: inlet, ionization, mass analysis, detector. Many of the methods only specify one or two of these. Have a look at the table. Lets try and sort it out at our next meeting.
@L-Kallas noted in #1 that the hyphenation in the skos:notation values is not consistent, and that there are duplicate values. I made a dump of all the skos:notations and exported to a csv file in the repo at https://github.com/amds-ldeo/Vocabulary/blob/updates20240222/geochemistry/AnalyticalMethodNotation.csv.
