'.' is causing bugs when in Custom Field Names #478

Hi Andrew, as discussed over the phone. When a Custom Field has a label with a '.' in it, there are issues for the Custom Field. I assume this will be the same for most special characters.

Need to block .'s from being entered when creating custom fields.
