Type an emoji into a material2 input. The emoji doesn't have to be there as an initial value.

What is the expected behavior?

Text is displayed and not cut off

What is the current behavior?

Text is cut off when there is an emoji

What are the steps to reproduce?

Device: iPhone 8 Plus Device OS: 11.2.5(15D60) Browser: Safari Also reproduced on iPhone 7 with chrome browser
