[MdSelect] Width of options container not resized after window resize #6567

Bug, feature request, or proposal:

Click a select to open the options, close it. Resize the window. Reopen the options, the width does not update.

What is the expected behavior?

The options should be parent size dependent like native html select.

What is the current behavior?

The options width does not update after a window resize.

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

UX

Which versions of Angular, Material, OS, TypeScript, browsers are affected?

Angular 4.3.1 Material 2.0.0-beta.8

It also happen when you rotate screen orientation from portrait to landscape
