I install oneClipper in newly installed new Firefox Dev edition in my Linux computer. Icon is visible. I attached screenshots. Tomorrow, I will test this extension on my friend's window 10 laptop and then post update.
Issue: Icon Not Displaying for Users with OneClipper Versions Older than 0.0.12
I think "Icon don't show" issue faced by user who installed oneClipper older than Version 0.0.12. Please follow these steps to resolve it:
about:profiles
in the address bar, then press Enter.browser-extension-data
folder.oneclipper@noterail.co
.After completing these steps, the icon should appear correctly.
Thanks for yor reply. I followed your instructions however the icon still does not show in the toolbar. Moreover several of the laptops have only ever had version 0.14 on them. I have tried on ten laptops with firefox (without a profile that syncs) & none of them show the icon, including on a brand new PC I set up this morning with a fresh installation of firefox.. I'm running a mixture of window 10 home, windows 11 pro & windows 11 home. Latest stable version of firefox.
Maybe this is a noterail or firefox server issue to users in NZ?
PS got my father to install the extension this morning, doesn't show for him either. So the first installation on his PC was version 0.15. He's also in NZ & also runs windows 11. There are no such issues on Chrome.
Hi, I mentioned this issue & included an image to show the problem here: https://github.com/anilkumarum/one-clipper/issues/1#issuecomment-2390479566
I received a reply that it was fixed in version 0.0.12, but it isn't. I have received a few updates since then (currently running version 0.0.14) & the toolbar icon is still blank. I am running Firefox 1.31.0 64bit English version on Windows 11. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the addon, & have also installed oneClipper on several other laptops with Firefox - the problem is on all of them (a mixture of Windows 10 & Windows 11 machines). On a couple of them the icon is also blank in the extension list. I have tried the default theme as well as some non-default themes for Firefox, & it makes no difference. I have also tried disabling all other extensions in case there is a clash, but it's still blank.
I do not have this problem with oneClipper on Edge or Chrome.
Aside from that, it is working very well. :) Thanks for looking further into this issue.
