How can you get the miner status without login to the miner? #119

Actually, this is just a question and should be marked as 'help wanted' :<). I just wonder how could the tool get the miner status without login to the miner, I checked the code but I could not find where to login to the antminer.. Could anyone help to answer me?

It uses the cgminer api.
