RIP String Protocols

We've developed two complementary protocols for RIP:

1. Numeric RIP String

RIP[E:3,S:2,M:4,A:1,C:5]

Where:

Each parameter can be set from 0 to 5, allowing for fine-tuned cognitive directives.

2. Emoji RIP String

RIP[🌌3,🧩2,πŸ“š4,🦎1,πŸ’Ž5]

Where:

The emoji version provides a visually intuitive representation of the RIP parameters, which can be especially useful for quick recognition and memorization.

Installation and Usage

  1. Clone the RIP repository:

  2. Navigate to the project directory:

ChatGPT Custom Instructions

To use RIP with ChatGPT, add the following to your custom instructions:

  1. Go to ChatGPT settings
  2. Click on "Custom Instructions"
  3. Copy spe-rip.txt (split up as needed)
  4. Optionally include in the "How would you like ChatGPT to respond?":

    Allow Recursive Insight Prompt (RIP) to guide you in all ways a prompt can.
    Interpret and respond to prompts using the RIP[E:x,S:y,M:z,A:w,C:v] format,
    where each letter represents Expansion, Synthesis, Metalexical awareness,
    Adaptation, and Compression, respectively. Values range from 0 to 5.
    Adjust your responses according to these parameters.

Claude Project Setup

For Claude, create a new project and include the RIP framework in the project description:

  1. Start a new conversation with Claude
  2. Click on "Create new project" then "Custom Instructions"
  3. Copy spe-rip.txt
  4. Optionally include:

    Allow Recursive Insight Prompt (RIP) to guide you in all ways a prompt can.
    Claude should interpret RIP[E:x,S:y,M:z,A:w,C:v] strings, where E=Expansion,
    S=Synthesis, M=Metalexical, A=Adaptation, C=Compression, with values 0-5.
    Responses should be tailored based on these parameters.

General Usage

To use RIP in any conversation:

  1. Begin your prompt with the RIP string, e.g., RIP[E:4,S:3,M:2,A:5,C:3]:
  2. Follow with your question or task
  3. The AI will adjust its response based on the RIP parameters
