Area select and "fill" options #5

It'd be nice to be able to select a square area of land and fill it in with whatever object you'd want. Useful for terrain, of course, but I also think it would be pretty convenient to have for making buildings. Theoretically you could select an area and then hit some kind of "walls along selection border" option, which would then give you your building outlines.

It would also be nice to be able to copy and move the selected area.
