Speed up play

Deer developer, I think the video play speed up or speed down is very useful for subtitle typewriting. Could you please consider this function. Thank you very much!

This is something that might be implemented at some point, yes. In the meantime, here's an alternative method that many people don't know of: If you hold the middle mouse button and drag the mouse across the audio display, you can jump through the video. That way, you can quickly look through some section in the video without actually playing it.

Right now I use the frame jump function with shortcut key. But I can't hear the voice of speeking in the video. So speed up and down is almost the best way to acceleration the video and also keep the voice be heared normally. Thank you!

I also need this feature. I am currently taking a part time job editing subtitle. My job is mainly proofreading and timing the subtitles. Having the ability to speed up the dialogue definitely will speed up my workflow.
