Receipt is not sent although set in settings

I am testing dev branch and signing up for a DD. Although my settings says "Always send receipt" no receipt is sent.

So the receipt should send when the Contribution becomes Completed, typically 8 days after the successful set-up of the mandate. (You can use the GoCardless Scenario Simulator to push this through in your test account - you have to set the mandate active, then do the payment. But sometimes that doesn't work if you don't use it right away.)

It doesn't send a receipt when you sign up for a DD, because no money has been received. Please close this if this is the issue you had.
