Avoid issue with method names with developer version of asv #34

This is to work around https://github.com/airspeed-velocity/asv/issues/604

I might leave this open for a few days to see if the asv issue is fixed

Looks like this will be fixed by https://github.com/airspeed-velocity/asv/pull/605 at which point we can close this.
