Palette is tool for showing color usages on a picture.

Star

A color wheel, the length of the ray is proportional to the hue.

Ffffound

Fetch new picture from the ffffound website. May be NSFW.

Map

Build a color map from a picture. A CIELab map, with the help of imagemagick.

Cluster

Group picture by color proximity. Try the combo ::

./fffound.py
./map.py
./cluster.py

and open the ugly cluster.html

Install

PIL_ , the Python Imaging Library is used.

Usage

Standard image formats are handled::

./wheel.py toto.png

Will generate totostar.png and totomap.png.

You can use more than one picture in the command line::

./wheel.py a.png b.png c.jpg d.tif
