Hey VolTorian I know this is an old issue but you will have to run this as administrator. No way around it by the looks.
i am not entirely sure if you really require this in any windows beyond 8 anymore, you can assign audio sources and targets by appm now and it stays ( i am using it with OBS and it works just fine)
just open your sound settings (sorry i got german language but the menu should look the same) https://puu.sh/DGhVn/710e72c791.jpg
scroll all the way to the bottom fpr advanced options, select the app or game and route it to a desired target (i use additional virtual audio cables, thery work great but i installed them before migrating to 10, so dunno if they can be installed without issues) https://puu.sh/DGhVP/6c30e754c0.png
ist will stay like this at least until the next windows upgrade XD
I'm trying to make Audio Router work with OBS (so i can record gameplay sounds without recording teamspeak), but the applications don't show up in the overview when I am using a standard windows account. If i log onto my administrator account and start it, it works fine. Applications that i run as admin on my standard account also show up. Using windows 8 compatibility mode and setting the properties to run as administrator doesn't help. How do i get Audio Router to detect programs that aren't run as admin? I don't use my admin account for everyday use and i don't want to run all my programs as admin.
