I am getting an error code 0x00000241 Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or hat might be malicious software from an unknown device Router funciton unavailable. image

same problem

I get the same error trying to use the duplicate feature on chrome.exe. Disabling Driver Signature Checks as well as Chrome's Global Media Controls doesn't make a difference.

did you also check THIS https://github.com/audiorouterdev/audio-router/issues/121 issue before posting to these two?

Is the maintainer gone or why are the duplicates not closed?

I guess it's nice that we can now set different output devices on an app-by-app basis, but I'm looking for a way to duplicate the audio, which sadly this new windows feature can't accomplish.

that you did not write, so not same issue then only similar :) there is a reason i asked

As a matter of fact, that's exactly what I wrote. "I get the same error trying to use the duplicate feature on chrome.exe."

Please understand that this product is over 5 years old and not designed for windows 10 please try running your program in windows 7 compatibility mode first.

I'm hit by the same issue, when trying to duplicate audio to both speaker and headphone. Running it under the "Windows 7 compatible mode" (and also "Vista compatible mode") didn't help, and it still ends with the same error.

@apsis0215 @kioku25 @Leungsiuyin Just found this thread having the same problem when trying to route Chrome Audio. I tried running in Windows 7 compatibility mode and I still got the error, however I then tried RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, and audio router can now route and duplicate Chrome audio. Trying running chrome as an administrator and see if that works for you.

@masonjacob - Windows 10 must have had updated. I found creating a shortcut to C:\Windows\explorer.exe ms-settings:apps-volume Has a built in mixer. Bang and Olufsen break it ever so often but it works well. Also more and more apps are taking advantage of the API- Amazon music allows me to port to different outputs and volume control as well now.
