Error code 0x00000005 Acess is denied. Please make the Router functionality available. Then its perfect for me!

I used soft routing - works better; previously it would hang. I still have to reload the page to get sound thogh - the bar shows it's generating sound but none is heard.

MarkL4YG commented 7 years ago

Whether I use soft routing or not, both just crash chrome.

MarkL4YG commented 7 years ago

Turns out: Duplication doesn't crash chrome, but both kill audio IO of TeamSpeak 3

SadeShadow18 commented 7 years ago

Maybe have an extension to chrome so this wont crash?

MarkL4YG commented 7 years ago

Just FYI: Maybe this will get unnecessary (for chrome) in the future: https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/4621603249848320

@SadeShadow18 preventing chrome from crashing is good but only half the way as chrome isn't the only application which has difficulties upon audiorouter routing anything - As I mentioned: TeamSpeak for example goes completely silent and is unable to send your audio input unless restarted after each operation of audiorouter. So there's still some stuff to work on.

I noticed that there was no audio option for chrome or other programs like Windows Media Player, which is very interesting and all, but perhaps there might be a way around that? maybe there might be a loophole around that. As you can Mute Applications altogether maybe it can mute the sounds on Speakers, then Desktop, and the only audio output is in Line 1? I don't know much about this, but Its not technically routing it, idk

seems that with w10 x64 it doesn't work at all with the "0x00000005 router functionality not available" error message when changing output - also sound is gone afterwards completely ...
