When i try to reroute the application to a different audio router i get a pending next to ffxiv and it never reroutes. I have tried running audio router as admin. closing and reopening application after pending and nothing seems to work. any way i can work around this ?

FFXIV will NOT change audio devices when told to. It is a flaw with Square Enix's application, not audiorouterdev. The only way to force FFXIV to "change" audio devices is to create a virtual one that it can always hang onto and then change whatever feeds into that virtual audio device.

My main problem is that i have alot of accessability software that is like final fantasy and hangs onto whichever default driver i set is there a way to specify/assign which driver each application uses before the program starts ?

Currently cable is my default i start FFXIV then

i use audio router to switch default audio driver but some programs like final fantasy do not switch to new default cable a or b they just stay with the old cable

I don't think there's any way through audiorouterdev or any other program to pick what device FFXIV (and your accessibility software) starts with. They will always pick the default sound device, as they cannot receive instruction to do otherwise.

The only solution I can think of is to manually change your default sound device to the one you want FFXIV (and others) to use before starting it, and then once they're loaded, change the default sound device back. They should still hang onto the device they started with.
