Spotify Success

A repository to analyse song data, and forecast success, based on the Kaggle Spotify Tracks Dataset.

• Currently working by following the checklist in Hands On Machine Learning with Scikit Learn and TensorFlow Ch. 2

Eventual project:

• instead of working with the kaggle dataset (from 2022), use more recent data collected from the spotify API
• Host on cloud
• Add sentiment analysis of song lyrics to the dataset
• Create an app that forecasts the success of an input song (will need to infer metrics like energy, danceability, key from the song itself, so this part could be quite involved)
