The FAQ Field module offers a convenient way to include a frequently asked questions section within your content. With this module, you can effortlessly create and manage simple yet sleek FAQs for any piece of content on your site.

Installation

To install the module, follow the standard procedures outlined in the Backdrop CMS User Guide. For further instructions, refer to the documentation provided.

Alternatively, if you have Bee installed, you can quickly install the module via the command line interface by executing:

bee -y en faqfield

Configuration

Integrating the FAQ field into your content is straightforward. Simply add the field to any entity such as content types or user profiles. In the field settings, you can customize the type of answer input widget to use and define filtering preferences. For instance, if opting for a formattable textarea, you can specify the default filter and explore advanced configuration options.

You can choose from various display formatters including:

• Accordion (jQuery JavaScript animated show/hide)
• Anchor list (FAQ with anchor link navigation)
• Simple text (unformatted output suitable for custom theming)
