Build requirements: cygwin, coreutils, python, tar, gnupg. Being a standalone script, cyg-apt doesn't require compilation: "make" creates the cyg-apt Cygwin package, making a tarball from the script, manpage and postinstall script.
BUILDING: $ make
The bulk of the source in this release supports testing cyg-apt.
INSTALLATION: $ make install
Configures the environment for building the test packages. Edit configure.sh to provide the URL of a scp accessable web server. $ configure.sh
$ make Builds the package under build/release-2/cyg-apt/
$ make testpackages Makes the testpackages, exporting them to the server if configure.sh has been completed.

Various development files that don't belong anywhere else.
Tests a subset of cyg-apt's functionality for regression. Requires running a completed cofigure.sh and building the test packages, see above.
Python utilites used by the test harness build process and test-cyg-apt.py
Support files for old-style releases (not as Cygwin package.)
