Expected Behaviour

When clicking finish after letting the application calculate a preview, the result should be saved, and the task should be closed.

Actual Behaviour

When clicking finisch after letting the application calculate a preview, the application crasches

Steps to Reproduce

  1. use sample project, and execute nexst steps
  2. modeling - railway
  3. select Line 1 as alignement
  4. set speed
  5. step true cross section wizzard (default)
  6. press preview (build(checked), ignore errors (unchecked), all sections (checked))
  7. now press build --> CRASH

Context

All users in the company are effected with this bug, preview --> save task leads to crashes.

Workaround

Do not use the preview button! or Close preview window before pressing finish!

Driver issue on graphic cards used within Infrabel Original (DUTCH) Ook bij support Noorwegen verwijzen ze naar het al dan niet gebruik maken van de grafische kaart met Novapoint en of deze al over een recente driver beschikt. Indien ik nog meer te weten kom laat ik het weten.

Update 05/05/2017 After testing, we can conclude that the crash only happens on systems with the ATI cards.

Next step is fitting existing workstations with a GPU from Nvidia. Hopefully that will fix this bug.
