If you're interested in helping out, I'd love to hear from you! π
Especially if you like frontend development π¨
How does it work?
Users can annotate their current location with a waste level on a scale of 0-10 with 0 being absolutely no waste β¨ and 10 being completely dirty.
The data is then plotted as a heatmap πΊοΈ.
The individual levels can be described as follows:
- 0: No waste is visible. The area is clean and free of litter.
- 1: Very little waste is visible. The area is generally clean, but there may be a few pieces of litter here and there.
- 2: Some waste is visible. The area is not as clean as it could be, but it is not excessively dirty.
- 3: Moderate amount of waste is visible. The area is starting to look dirty, and there may be a few larger pieces of litter, such as fast food wrappers or plastic bags.
- 4: A significant amount of waste is visible. The area is visibly dirty, and there may be piles of litter in some places.
- 5: A large amount of waste is visible. The area is very dirty, and litter are widespread.
- 6: The waste is overwhelming. The area is covered in litter, and it may be difficult to navigate without stepping on or around waste.
- 7: The waste is overwhelming and hazardous. The area is covered in litter, and there may be sharp or dangerous objects among the waste.
- 8: The waste is overwhelming and hazardous. The area is covered in litter, and it is difficult to avoid coming into contact with waste.
- 9: The waste is overwhelming and hazardous. The area is completely covered in waste, and it is difficult to move or see the ground or other surfaces.
- 10: The waste is overwhelming and hazardous. The area is completely covered in waste, and it poses a serious health and safety hazard.
