It can be quite difficult to tell whether a map is appropriate for 8v8 or 4v4 from the current map select UI. Adding this feature would make it easier for players to find the type of map they want to play, instead of trying to figure out if it is appropriate after finding an interesting map.

This info is already on the BAR website, it should be included in the map selection UI as well. https://www.beyondallreason.info/maps

You can filter the map list now. Just type "16x16" or such in the searchbox.

Edit: Filter for 1v1 , 5v5 is still not possible, afaik.
