Site versioning may occasionally fail in production #1365

For some reason the current SODAR version shows up as untagged in production deployment. Maybe something's gone wrong with the recent versioneer update? Locally this works fine.

It appears this was a temporary issue. I probably made some mistake when building the previous dev image. Will keep tihs ongoing in case the problem reappears and if so, I'll look into causes and fixes. If I don't spot it for a while, I'll close.
