That's weird. There was no performance problem with my device.
The change that might cause performance problems in v5.3.0
is #437
Because of compatibility, userChrome.compatibility.accent_color
must be called repeatedly.
However, Read userChrome.compatibility.accent_color
setting is mainly related to I/O, and once read @supports
value should be cached, so it should not be expensive.

The issue presented itself when watching streams. (e.g. twitch)
This is how the CPU usage look with old user.js (30% highest it got)
Was between 76% - 100% with the user.js provided with the v5.3.0 update.
Only add-on I use is "Ublock Origin"
this is fixed so closing.
Describe the bug
I've installed the v5.3.0 and immediately started causing high CPU usage and even causing FF to overload the CPU to 100%.
Replacing the user.js provided with the v5.3.0 update with the old user.js I used fixed the problem.
