Idk if this is helpful but this is some codez where I used Wordpress to send emails https://github.com/bmlt-enabled/bmlt-export/blob/27987fc3fd3dfaf7dedc90bd5a197e195d31e274/admin/class-bmlt-export-admin.php#L399 using the wp_mail function https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_mail/
