Ad-blocking hosts files, IP block lists, PAC filters, ABP / uBO / ADG subscriptions, and a whole lot more. All merged from multiple reputable sources, combined with my own research. Also, script-based utilities to help you create such things yourself. Updated at least once every two weeks, often more frequently.

Saw it load some weird json on tinyurl.com: https://archive.is/O5BWL

Here's optimise.net urlscan page: https://urlscan.io/domain/optimise.net

I'm unsure if it is a tracker, though it looks like one (pplx / mirror). Per Rethink DNS, 1Hosts (Xtra) is the only blocklist that flags it: https://rethinkdns.com/search?q=optimise.net / https://archive.is/rsi9v

Will look into this later today/night. Thank you for pointing it out.

In the midst of examining this, but can't find much useful information about the domain from the source itself, or third party. It appears to be involved in client metrics, serving ads, and potentially routing traffic (based on the output displayed by some URLs cataloged at URL Scan). Strange indeed. On the off chance that this fills the role of a CDN in some contexts, I'm just going to block the domain network-wide at home over the weekend. If nothing goes awry, I'll blacklist it across the board this coming week (if not sooner). Hope that seems like a reasonable approach! Please let me know if you come across any additional info on the topic.

P.S. Scratch that. Based on the salient remarks of @ph00lt0 (re: sales funnel) I'm just going to block it across the board for now too. Will close this issue when it's present in all relevant lists, and keep my eyes open for any aberrant behavior.
